The year 2020 had proven to be the worst that could ever happen to humankind due to the coronavirus outbreak. Due to the pandemic, over 141 million ending up getting infected with the coronavirus and around 3.1 million people around the world lost their lives.

Towards the end of 2020, the entire world was given the most promising news that different companies had discovered the vaccine for the coronavirus. Since then, the entire world is no on a different track as governments and health organizations from all over the world are now pushing coronavirus back to a state of nothingness.

While the majority of the countries from around the world are now moving towards a fast recovery from the pandemic, countries such as India is currently facing the worst time of the COVID-19 outbreak.

Similar to the rest of the world, India is also facing the second wave of the COVID-19 outbreak. However, while the entire world is managing to fight it off with promising results, India is facing a bad time.

According to reports, India is currently facing an alarming situation in regards to the COVID-19 cases. As per local sources, the COVID cases are coming in on a high number than before and it has been happening for several days now.

Hospitals from all over the country are reporting that they have their emergency wards occupied with more patients coming in on a daily basis. The health organizations in the country are trying their best to help recover all infected patients from the coronavirus.

On Tuesday, April 20, 2021, the health association in India has reported that in the last 24 hours, they have received 259,170 new cases. The association has reported that in the same period, the country has observed more than 1,761 deaths.

According to the government officials, it is the sixth consecutive day that the number of incoming cases is more than 200,000. However, the government has reported that as compared to the daily cases, the death toll is significantly low.

The government of India and the country’s health organizations are now afraid that this figure will also start rising as more patients keep coming in infected with the coronavirus.

The Indian Government has revealed that the number of COVID cases started increasing towards the end of February 2021. Since February, India has recorded more than 3 million confirmed coronavirus cases and the number of deaths has exceeded 18,000 since February.

As of now, the total number of cases recorded by Indian health organizations is more than 15 million. As a result, India has now become the second country with the highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases.

One of the major concerns about India is that it is the second-largest country in the world in terms of population. If things turn for the worst in India, the world will get to see how worse the situation could be in China if it wasn’t controlled in time.
